“The first annual Junior Daisy was a massive success. We are proud and honored to have the individuals who participated represent Valleybrook and our community. It was a great field of young players, both on and off the course. Their sportsmanship, camaraderie, and competitiveness are truly the cornerstones of what Valleybrook is all about.

Reid Johnson and Creighton Roman fired a 7-under and made it look easy. Reid is the epitome of dedication—you can find him at the course six days a week, putting in the work on his short game and practicing with purpose on the range. Creighton, from Knoxville, is building an impressive resume across Tennessee competing in Tennessee Golf Association events.

Ivan Anderson and his partner Benton Whitacre walked away as the inaugural 9-hole champions. Benton, from Black Creek, displayed a silky smooth swing, while Ivan, a fierce junior league player on our team, has been working hard on his craft all season as well.

A big congratulations to all of our players—we look forward to seeing them back in the field at the 2027 Junior Daisy.”
