Summer 2024
From the desk of Coach Kevin Ashley, PGA —
Our inaugural season was incredible. We succeeded in all categories. We played the most matches out of any team in Chattanooga and came out on top with a 9-2 record. It was very enjoyable getting to know the players this summer and coaching them along the way. Watching the display of great golf, sportsmanship, and teamwork from this group was special. I am incredibly proud of this group and how fast they moved up the leaderboard in Chattanooga. To be able to not only compete but win against some very experienced Chattanooga teams was a tremendous accomplishment.
As for our 17-U team, unfortunately we were only able to play one match against Windstone. But again, we came out on top at their home course. What a proud coaching moment that night. Hopefully other clubs will have 17-U teams next year, and we can show off our talent across town.
